Noble Dame
3yo Bay Filly Sir Prancealot (IRE)-Carinya Lodge (Fastnet Rock)
This lovely big filly is a homebred that has impressed us greatly. She is a 3yo daughter of Sir Prancealot (Ire).
Sir Prancealot was the leading first season sire in the UK beating supersire Frankel to the crown. He was purchased by SA stud Cornerstone and stood for a service fee of $9,900. He struggled for mares early on but has since leaving SA for the USA, become quite a prolific producer of winners in the last few years with horses like Sir Sway, Sir Now, Snoopy Now and Dancing Storm continuing his run of success of late.
Sir Prancealot has been a proven cross to Danehill line mares with over 40% of his winners and multiple Stakes winners in Uk and here coming from the cross. SA stakeswinners Sir Sway and Sir Kingsford are both out of grand daughters of Danehill.
This filly's mum Carinya Lodge is by Fastnet Rock. The greatest son of Danehill. Many of the Sir Prancealots can be quite small and unassuming but this girl has thrown to the Fastnet Rock being a big strong filly (a traits of many Fastnet mares). She was quite long in the pasterns so Ros gave her plenty of time to mature and she really has turned into a lovely filly from a very sort after breeding cross.
Because she is a home breed, she is tremendous value. You only pay the same as we have to be in her like all our horses and that means this filly is a bargain buy with a great pedigree. And this is by far the best Stallion the mare Carinya Lodge has gone to.
Second Dam Quillionaire threw Stakeswinner Boristar who was a Christmas Hcp (SAJC) winner of 9 races. Whilst 3rd Dam Snow Quill threw Group 1 Qld Oaks winner Zagalia.
She is back in after her education prep and is ready to trial competitively this prep and hopefully get to the races. She has shown us plenty early and has grown into a bigger stronger and more co-ordinated filly this time in.
Racing Interests in this filly start at just $600 and she is well bred and ready to race this racing year. You wont find many horses bred as well as that for the price and Sir P's progeny are winning races every week.
Get some mates in and get a share in this great value filly. She is paid up for Racing Rewards which will double her maiden win prizemoney and other qualified races. To be trained here by Roslyn Day who has a 20% share in her herself also.
Ongoing costs with trainer Roslyn Day are Full training fees $69 a day and $36 a day when spelling. Full bills with everything included average out at about $50 a week for 10% over a 12 month period. (2.5% $12.50 a week, 5% $25 a week). Please consider these.
